Front fender
Bare steel front fender (front mudguard) for pre-drilled standard mounting, 97-1677.
This is the front fender, or front mudguard in the parts-book term, listed under 97-1677 with the older H1677 and JRC 10-402 numbers also tied to the same piece. It shows up in the MUDGUARDS (STANDARD) figure for 1966, and it's a standard steel fender with a mounting stud in place for the lower stay, the type of bracket that ties the guard down near the fork leg to keep it from flexing loose over rough roads.

It comes as bare mild steel, so it needs prep and paint before it goes on the bike. It has drillings already in it for mounting, which saves you from measuring and drilling holes yourself.
We only show this one appearing in the catalog for the single year noted, so if your bike falls outside that, give us a call and we'll check the fitment before you order.
