Mixing chamber top (99-1032)
Mixing chamber top for an Amal carburetor, the cap that houses the throttle slide and cable ferrule.
928/098 is the mixing chamber top for an Amal carburetor, the cap that sits on top of the carb body and holds the throttle slide and cable in place. It's the piece the throttle cable ferrule passes through on its way down to the slide, and it's what keeps the slide assembly capped off and running true inside the mixing chamber.

This one shows up across Amal carburetor listings for TR6R, TR6C, and T120R twins as well as T140 and T140V figures, so it's a part that carried forward across those unit-twin carb setups through the early-to-mid '70s. The cross reference number 99-1032 is worth noting if you're working from an older parts book or a carb that's been rebuilt with mixed numbering over the years.
If you're pulling a top off an old carb, check the condition of the ferrule holes and the fit against your slide before ordering — tops wear at the cable ferrule and can crack or elongate with age.
