Pillion Footrest Assembly Left

Left-side pillion footrest assembly for the rear of the bike, catalog PN 83-7025.

PN · 83-7025

This is the left-side pillion footrest assembly, PN 83-7025, the peg a passenger's left foot rests on at the rear of the bike. It shows up in the parts book under Motor Unit Fittings and Footrests, which places it with the frame-mounted hardware rather than anything engine-internal.

Catalog listings for this part run from 1976 through 1979, so it's associated with that later stretch of unit-construction Triumphs. As a pillion peg it's a wear-and-tear item that folds up out of the way when not in use and takes the brunt of scuffing and corrosion over the years, so it's common to find these bent, rusted, or missing their rubber when pulled off an old bike.

If you're replacing just the one side, make sure you're ordering the left, since the right-side pillion footrest is a separate part number. Call the shop if you want us to confirm what else in the mounting hardware you'll need alongside it.
