WRIST PIN T140 BSA A10/A65 - Replaces 65-0440
Wrist pin (gudgeon pin) joining the piston to the connecting rod, listed for the T140 and BSA A10/A65 engines.
This is the wrist pin (also called the gudgeon pin in the old British parts books) that connects the piston to the connecting rod on the crankshaft and connecting rods assembly. The catalog lists it for the T140-family engine as well as BSA A10 and A65 applications, so the same physical pin was used across more than one make. Triumph's own catalog shows it replacing an earlier number, 65-0440, so if you're working from an older parts book that's the number you may see listed instead.

It shows up in our records tied to crankshaft and connecting rod work, which is where you'd be pulling the piston and rod apart to get at it anyway. Because it's shared across the T140 and the BSA A10/A65 line, it's worth double-checking which engine family you're actually working on before you order, since the description covers more than one bike.
Given how it's used, it's a good idea to have this on hand any time you're doing piston or rod work rather than trying to reuse the old one. Call the shop if you want us to confirm it matches what's coming out of your engine.
