Self locking nut
Self-locking connecting rod nut for the crankshaft big end, PN 60-3761 (formerly 21-2016).
This is the self-locking nut that fits on the connecting rod bolts at the crankshaft big end, listed in the catalog under the CRANKSHAFT AND CONNECTING RODS figure. It carries the older factory number 21-2016 before it was renumbered to 60-3761, and it also shows up under the D3761 alias, so if your parts book lists either of those older numbers, this is the same physical part.

The self-locking design (sometimes called a star or crinkle-style locknut in the trade) is meant to hold torque on the rod bolt without a separate lock washer or split pin. Because it's a one-time-use locking nut, the usual practice on a part like this is to fit a fresh one whenever the big end is disturbed rather than reuse the old one.
It appears across a long run of catalog entries from 1972 to 1980, so it's a part worth having a stock of if you're doing bottom-end work. Call the shop if you want us to confirm exactly which rod bolt set you need to go with it before you order.
