Exhaust rocker box
Exhaust-side rocker box (70-3551 / E3551) that houses the exhaust rocker gear atop the cylinder head.
This is an exhaust rocker box, part number 70-3551, also listed in older parts books under E3551. It sits on top of the cylinder head on the exhaust side, housing the rocker gear that operates the exhaust valve. Catalog records show it turning up in the cylinder block and head sections for the T110 and TR6, as well as the T120, across the early 1960s catalog years.

The rocker box bolts down over the rocker spindle and rocker arms, giving them a sealed enclosure and a place to hold oil for lubricating the valve gear. Because it's a casting that mates against the head and carries a cover and gasket surfaces, fit and condition of the mating faces matter when you're putting one back into service.
If you're matching this against your own engine, check the casting against your existing rocker box and gasket surfaces before ordering, since our record here doesn't spell out anything beyond which figures it shows up in.
