Rocker box bolt
Outer rocker box bolt for 650 Triumph twins, secures the rocker box to the cylinder head.
This is the outer rocker box bolt, part number 70-2982, also listed under its earlier form E2982. It secures the rocker box to the cylinder head on the 650 twin engines, and shows up across a run of cylinder block and head figures covering the 6T, TR6, TR6R, TR6C, T110, T120 and T120R.

It's a small fastener but it does real work holding the rocker box down tight against the head, and it's one of those bolts that's worth having a few spares of on the shelf since they're easy to nick the threads on or lose track of during a top end job.
