Fibre washer, oil pressure release valve at case
Fibre sealing washer for the oil pressure release valve where it threads into the crankcase.
This is the fibre sealing washer that sits at the crankcase end of the oil pressure release valve, between the release valve body and the threaded port it screws into. It's a small part but its job matters: it keeps engine oil from seeping out around the valve where it threads into the case. Catalog listings from 1960 through 1974 place this washer squarely in the oil pump and release valve assembly, and it shows up across a run of related figures covering the oil pump, release valve, inlet manifold, and tappet chest, so it's a part that gets called for whenever that assembly comes apart.

The legacy number for this one is E1670, which you'll see printed in older parts books before Triumph moved to the 70-1670 numbering. Same physical washer either way.
It's a fibre washer, not rubber or metal, so it compresses to seal rather than relying on a rubber lip. Given how often the release valve gets pulled for cleaning or inspection, it's worth having a couple on hand rather than reusing the old one and hoping it still seals.
