This site is run by Le Hangar 23, 1281 Logan Ave Ste E, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. This policy covers lh23parts.com. Short version: we collect what we need to sell you parts and ship them, we don't sell your information to anyone, and you can ask us what we have on you at any time.
What we collect
- Orders. Name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, and what you bought. Payment goes through Shopify's checkout — we never see or store your full card number.
- Accounts. If you sign in (Shopify customer accounts), we keep your order history plus anything you save on the site: garage bikes, build lists, service log entries, backorder requests, and referral activity.
- Ask Ed. Messages you type to the parts counter chat are processed by an AI service provider to generate answers, and we may review conversations to improve them. Signing in is required to chat. Don't put payment details in the chat.
- Site basics. Cookies keep your cart, session, and language working, and Shopify gives us standard store analytics (pages visited, rough location, device type).
How we use it
To fulfill orders, send order and backorder emails, run the referral program, answer your questions, and keep the site working. Transactional email is sent through Resend. We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't send marketing you didn't ask for.
Who sees it
- Shopify — runs the store, checkout, and customer accounts.
- JRC Engineering (Perris, CA) — our fulfillment warehouse gets your name and shipping address so your parts actually ship.
- Carriers (UPS, USPS) — get the address on the box.
- Resend — delivers our transactional email.
- Our AI provider — processes Ask Ed chat messages to generate responses.
That's the list. Nobody on it is allowed to use your information for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Order records stay as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account data stays until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
Your choices
Email contact@lehangar23.com to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. California residents: the CCPA gives you the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale — we don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of, but the first two work as described above. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time; your cart just won't survive it.
