NM.25369 is a connecting rod complete with its cap, listed in the engine section covering the crankshaft, pistons, camshaft, and timing gear. This is the link between the piston and the crankshaft journal - it transmits the force of combustion down into rotational motion at the crank, and the cap is what clamps the big-end around the crankpin.
