Fibre washer
A fibre sealing washer used in gearbox, primary, and clutch areas, now supplied under number 40-0239.
NE507 is a fibre washer that shows up repeatedly across the gearbox, primary, clutch, and crankcase side of the catalog record - it appears in figure titles for the chaincase and chains, crankcase, clutch, gearbox and casing, and gearbox outer cover. That spread just tells you this is a common small sealing washer used at more than one joint or cap on the engine and gearbox side of things, not that it's one specific washer doing one specific job everywhere it's listed.

The factory number was later changed to 40-0239, so if your parts book or an older invoice shows NE507, that's the same physical washer under its current number. We stock it under 40-0239 now.
Beyond that the catalog record doesn't spell out size or which exact cap or joint it seals on your machine. Fibre washers of this kind are generally used where you want a soft, compressible seal against a metal cap or plug rather than a rigid metal gasket. Bring your old one to the counter or check your parts book diagram to match it up before ordering.
