This is a fuel T junction, threaded 1/4 BSP, used where a single fuel line needs to split into two or where two lines need to join into one. On a lot of British bikes you'll find one of these in the fuel line when the tank feeds a duplex carb setup or when a tap arrangement needs a branch point.
