POSITIVE EARTH DECAL

A positive earth warning decal reminding you the electrical system is wired positive ground, not negative.

PN · JRC-24-161W

This is a positive earth decal, the small warning sticker that reminds you and anyone else working on the bike which way the electrical system is wired. Old British bikes of this era ran positive earth rather than the negative earth setup most people are used to on modern vehicles, and getting that backwards when you hook up a battery, add an accessory, or wire in a gauge can cause real damage to the electrics. The decal is a cheap way to keep that fact visible so nobody guesses wrong down the road.

It shows up in our records under the 60-0052 number as well as the JRC 24-161W form, so if you've seen it listed either way, it's the same sticker.

We don't have much more detail on this one beyond what's on the label itself. If you're trying to match an original look or placement, give us a call and we'll help you sort it out before you order.
