54363453 Warning light, amber

Amber warning light lens (PN 99-1207 / 54363453) used in Triumph headlamp and instrument warning-light clusters.

PN · 99-1207
Superseded by 54363453.

This is the amber warning light lens that sits in the headlamp shell or instrument area on Triumphs of this era, part of the trio of tell-tale lamps (amber, red, green) that let a rider glance down and see turn signal, high beam, or neutral/oil status at a stop. The catalog carries it under 99-1207, which is the same part as the number 54363453 stamped on the piece itself, and later factory records show it superseded to that same 54363453 designation, so if you're cross-checking a parts book from a different year and see either number, you're looking at the same lamp.

It shows up in the catalog across HEADLAMP AND FLASHER LAMPS and ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS figures spanning the mid-to-late '70s into the '80s, which tells us this is a lamp used across a good number of model years in that window rather than a one-off part for a single bike. If you're replacing the whole set, the red and green versions are cataloged right alongside it under their own numbers.

When you're pulling the old one, check the bulb holder and rubber sealing ring behind it too — those wear out and let moisture in long before the lens itself gives up.
