Throttle stop screw
Idle adjuster screw for the Amal carburetor on the T140V, also known by its Amal number 622/077.
This is the throttle stop screw off an Amal carburetor as fitted on the T140V, the small adjuster that sets how far the throttle slide sits closed at idle. Turning it in or out changes how much air the slide lets past with the throttle grip untouched, which is how you dial in idle speed on the bench or at the curb.

Our catalog record ties this one to the T140V carburetor figure, with the alias 622/077 alongside the current 99-0516 number. If you're working from an older Amal parts list you may see it under that 622/077 designation instead.
It's a small, easily lost piece of hardware, so if yours has gone missing or rounded off it's worth having a spare on hand before you tear into the carb.
