Clip – throttle needle
The clip that locates the throttle needle position inside an Amal carburetor slide.
This is the small clip that holds the throttle needle at a fixed position in the Amal carburetor slide. It fits into one of the notches on the needle so the needle sits at a set height, which is what actually sets the fuel mixture as the slide rises and falls with throttle movement. Move the clip up or down a notch and you change the mixture richness at a given throttle opening.

It shows up in the carburetor and throttle linkage sections of the parts books for the T140V, so it's tied to Amal carb work on those unit-construction twins during the mid-1970s catalog years shown in our records. It's a cheap, easy-to-lose part when you have the carb apart for a needle jet or slide inspection, so it's worth keeping a spare in the toolbox.
Also listed under 622/067, which is the Amal factory part number for the same clip. If you're chasing carb parts and see either number in an old parts book or Amal chart, they're the same piece.
