GROMMET,TANK BADGE
Rubber grommet that seats and seals the tank badge on the fuel tank's center mounting hole.
This is the rubber grommet that fits into the center hole on top of the fuel tank and holds the tank badge in place. On these later Triumphs the badge itself sits in a mounting hole rather than being riveted on, and the grommet is what seals that hole and cushions the badge so it doesn't rattle or let water in underneath.

Our catalog shows this part under 97-5061, with 83-4763 as the older factory number for the same grommet. It turns up across the gas tank figures for the 2.8-gallon and 4-gallon tanks as well as the general petrol tank listings, so it's a component Triumph carried forward through several tank variations rather than a one-off.
If your parts book lists 83-4763 instead of 97-5061, that's the same grommet under its earlier number - no need to hunt for a different part. It's a small rubber piece, cheap enough to replace on a whim if it's cracked, shrunk, or missing, since a bad grommet is usually the reason a badge won't sit flush or falls out.
