Fork stem sleeve nut (blind)
Blind (domed) sleeve nut that caps the steering stem atop Triumph telescopic front forks, UNF thread.
This is the blind (domed) sleeve nut that caps the top of the steering stem on Triumph telescopic forks. It threads onto the stem where the two fork legs come together at the top of the steering head, and being a blind style it covers the end of the stem rather than leaving it exposed, giving the top of the fork a finished look. The old book number for this one was H2263 before Triumph moved to the 97-2263 numbering.

It shows up in the parts books across TELESCOPIC FRONT FORK figures, including the T100C and T100R USA fork listings and the TR6R/T120R fork figure, so it's a common piece across several of the telescopic fork setups Triumph ran through the late 1960s into the mid '70s. The catalog record threads it as UNF.
If you're chasing one of these because the original is buggered up, corroded, or the domed top has been chewed up by a wrench that slipped, it's a straightforward swap once the fork top is apart. Worth checking your stem threads for wear before you thread on a new nut.
