Right-hand top cover for the front fork/headlamp mounting area, 1968-70, PN 97-2162 (aka H2162).
This is the right-hand top cover, catalog number 97-2162, also listed under the older H2162 designation. It shows up in the parts books under both the swinging fork and suspension figure and the telescopic front fork figure, and catalog listings from other sources tie it to the headlamp mounting area on the right side of the front end.

These covers dress up the top of the fork leg where the headlamp brackets and related hardware mount, tidying up the area between the fork tube and the headlamp ears. Being right-hand specific, it is not interchangeable with the left side cover — order the correct side for your bike.
