FORK SPINDLE CAP 1965-70 TRIUMPH - D SHAPED
D-shaped cap that covers the bottom of the Triumph front fork leg at the spindle, PN 97-1844 (also listed as H1844).
This is the D-shaped cap that fits at the bottom of the front fork leg where the wheel spindle passes through. It's a small cover piece, but it finishes off the bottom of the fork leg and keeps the works underneath tidy. In the parts books it also turns up under the older H1844 number, which is the pre-1973 form of the same part.

The catalog carries this cap across a wide run of telescopic front fork listings, from general fork figures to the TR6 and T120 fork sections, spanning 1965 into the early '70s. It's a straightforward hardware item, but with a shape specific to Triumph's fork bottom, so it's worth checking against what's actually on your bike before ordering.
At this price and this simple a part, we'd rather you just call if you're not sure it's the right cap for your fork leg - better to confirm than to have the wrong shape show up at the counter.
