FORK COVER T120TT (has no headlamp ear)

Fork cover for T120TT/TR6C competition front forks, the version without a headlamp ear.

PN · 97-1696

This is the fork cover for T120TT and TR6C competition-style front ends, the version without a headlamp ear since those bikes ran without a standard headlamp bracket up front. It's the outer tube cover that slides over the top of the fork leg, covering the top fork tube on both legs and giving the front end its finished look while keeping road grime off the tube and seals underneath.

Our records show this one appearing across catalogs for the front fork setups used on T100C, T100R, TR6C, and T120TT machines from the mid-to-late '60s. The old book number for this part is H1696, which you'll still see in some parts lists if you're working from an older manual.

If your fork already has a headlamp ear bracket, this isn't the cover you want — this one is specifically the no-ear version built for the competition-style stripped-down front ends. Worth checking your current cover before ordering to make sure you've got the right style.
