NUT 4BA PLAIN BRASS - TANK TRIM REAR
A small 4BA brass nut that secures the rear of the fuel tank trim strip.
This is a small brass nut, 4BA thread, used at the rear of the fuel tank to secure the trim strip that runs down the center of the tank on many Triumph models. It's a plain fastener, nothing fancy, but it's the kind of piece that goes missing or gets rounded off over the years and then the trim strip rattles or won't sit flush anymore.

Catalog records show it turning up under the Petrol Tank and Gas Tank figures across a run of years from the mid-60s into the early 70s. The older book number for this one is H919, so if you're working from an early parts list and see that stamped on the page, it's the same nut listed here as 97-0919.
Brass was the original material call on this one, which makes sense for a fastener that lives right up against painted tinware where you don't want rust bleeding through down the road. Worth keeping a couple of spares on hand since these are easy to lose track of when you've got the tank off the bike.
