Beading — rear lamphousing
Beading that seals the gap between the rear lamphousing and the rear fender.
This is the beading that fits around the rear lamphousing, the little rubber or trim strip that sits between the taillight housing and the fender it mounts to. It's a finish piece rather than a structural one — it seals the gap and cleans up the join so you don't have bare metal edges or a rattle where the lamp unit meets the mudguard.

Our catalog record has it under 83-3212, with an earlier factory number F13212 for the same part. It turns up in the mudguard and chainguard listings for the early '70s, so it's tied to that era of rear fender and taillamp assembly.
It's a small, easy-to-overlook part, but if yours has gone hard or split it's worth swapping out when you've got the rear fender off anyway. Call the shop if you want us to confirm it matches what you've got before you order.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
