Rear motor plate R.H

Right-hand rear engine mounting plate that bolts the motor into the frame, also carrying the footrest mount.

PN · 83-3024

This is the right-hand rear motor plate, part number 83-3024, also cataloged under the older F13024 designation. It shows up in the parts books under the motor unit fitting and footrests section, which tells you it's one of the plates that ties the engine into the frame at the rear, on the right side of the bike.

Motor plates like this one are structural pieces - they bolt the engine/gearbox unit solidly into the frame cradle and usually double as a mounting point for the footrest hardware, which is why you'll find this plate listed alongside footrest parts in the catalog. Catalog listings for this plate span the early 1970s.

If you're replacing a corroded or cracked motor plate, it's worth checking the mating hardware and the left-hand counterpart while you're in there, since the two sides don't share a part number. Give us a call if you're not sure which plate your frame needs - happy to check it against what you've got.
