Motor plate rear—R.H.
Right-hand rear motor plate (PN 83-2015, formerly F12015) that bolts the engine and gearbox to the frame at the back of the motor.
This is the right-hand rear motor plate, PN 83-2015, also listed under the earlier F12015 number. Motor plates are the metal brackets that bolt the engine and gearbox together at the back of the crankcase, tying the powerplant into the frame and keeping everything lined up square. This one is the rear plate on the right-hand side of the bike.

It shows up in our records in the OIL FILTER and MOTOR FIXINGS sections of the parts book, which lines up with where these plates live — right around the oil filter housing and the engine mounting hardware at the back of the motor. The catalog only ties this one to 1971, so if your bike is a different year, give us a call and we'll check it against your frame and engine before you order.
If you're replacing one of these, it's worth looking over the corresponding left-hand plate and the mounting bolts at the same time, since they all work together to hold the engine solid in the frame.
