BSA Spacer, swinging arm, left-hand
Left-hand swinging arm pivot spacer for the rear suspension pivot assembly.
This is the left-hand spacer that fits into the swinging arm pivot assembly at the back of the frame, on the suspension side of the bike. It sits between the pivot and the frame lugs, taking up the correct clearance so the swinging arm can pivot freely without side play while the pivot bolt is drawn up tight.

Our catalog record shows this part turning up in the swinging arm, centre stand, and rear brake control figures, which tells you it lives right where those systems come together at the rear pivot area. The catalog appearances we have on file run 1969 to 1970, though we'd want to confirm exact fitment against your frame before you order.
The number is straightforward, no letter-prefix alias floating around for this one in our records. If you're rebuilding the swinging arm pivot, it is worth checking this spacer for wear or corrosion alongside the bushes and pivot bolt while everything is apart.
