A chainguard of this type covers the top run of the final drive chain, keeping road grime and thrown chain oil off the rider's leg and off the chain itself. This is a BSA part, not a Triumph part, despite how it's filed in our system - the description names the BSA Rocket 3 directly and that's what we're going by.
We don't have extra detail beyond what's in the catalog entry itself, so if you're trying to match this to a specific Rocket 3 build, give us a call and we'll go over what we've got before you order.
