SWINGING FORK
The swinging fork (rear pivoted fork) assembly that carries the rear wheel, PN 82-7845.
This is the swinging fork, the pivoted rear fork assembly that carries the rear wheel and connects to the suspension units at the back of the bike. It's the part that lets the rear wheel move up and down, mounted on a pivot at the frame and controlled by the shock/suspension units at the rear.

In the parts book it shows up in the SWINGING FORK AND SUSPENSION UNITS figure, which tells you this is the whole fork assembly, not just a bracket or bushing off it. The older alias F7845 is just the earlier catalog form of the same part number before the numeric-prefix system took over.
Our record on this one only ties it to a single catalog appearance, so we don't have much more detail to go on beyond what's here. If you're trying to match this against what's currently on your bike, give us a call and we'll help confirm it's the right one before you order.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
