Spacer D.S. rear engine plate

A rear engine plate spacer (Triumph, also numbered F7157) from the engine unit fittings and footrests assembly.

PN · 82-7157

This is a spacer that sits at the rear engine plate area, part of the engine unit fittings and footrests assembly on the frame. The old parts book lists it as F7157, which is just the earlier letter-prefix number for this same piece before Triumph moved to the numeric-only system.

Spacers like this take up the gap between the engine plate and the mounting hardware so everything draws up tight and square without the plate flexing or the fasteners bottoming out in the wrong place. It's a small piece but it does real work keeping the engine mounting solid.

Our catalog record only shows this one appearance, tied to 1969, so we don't have a wider fitment picture beyond that. If you're matching this up to a rebuild, bring the old part or your frame number in and we'll confirm before you order.
