Right coil bracket
Right-hand ignition coil mounting bracket, catalog number 82-6944, supersedes the earlier 82-6943.
This is the right-hand coil mounting bracket, part number 82-6944, listed in the catalog under the earlier number 82-6943 before that. It shows up in the ignition coil figures alongside both the A.C. magneto/direct lighting setup and the D.C. ignition coil, horn, rectifier and zener diode arrangement, so it's a piece that stayed in the parts books across a few different charging system configurations.

Its job is simple: it holds one of the ignition coils in place on the frame or under the tank, on the right side of the bike. If your bracket is cracked, bent, or missing entirely, the coil it's supposed to support will rattle around or hang loose, which is no good for the wiring or the coil itself.
Our catalog record ties this one to appearances from 1967 to 1968, but we'd want you to double check it against what's actually on your bike before ordering, since brackets like this can look similar across model years without being identical.
