Mudguard blade
Mudguard blade (fender panel), Triumph PN 82-5984, also listed as F5984, appearing in mudguard/fender parts-book figures from 1964-1967.
This is the mudguard blade itself, the metal panel that forms the fender over a wheel, listed here under its Triumph part number 82-5984 with the earlier F5984 form still turning up in some parts books. It shows up in the standard mudguard figures as well as the U.S.-spec fender listings, which tells you Triumph cataloged separate blades for the home market and the export/U.S. bikes even though they're doing the same job.

The catalog spread on this one runs from 1964 to 1967, and it appears across nine different listing rows in that stretch, so this was a part Triumph kept revising or re-listing rather than a one-off. If you're chasing a razor-edge style rear guard from that era, this is the number to have in hand, but bring your frame and existing guard along or check the fitment carefully before you buy, since standard and U.S. fender specs weren't identical.
Call the shop with your model and year if you're not sure which blade you need. There's more than one mudguard listing in our records for this general period, and matching the right one the first time saves you a return trip.
