Pressure plate
A pressure plate listed under gearbox outer cover parts, from a 1970 catalog entry.
PN · 72156
This is the pressure plate that shows up in the gearbox outer cover section of the parts book. It's a single catalog entry with a 1970 date on it, so there isn't a lot of history in our records to draw on beyond that.
