HEAD GASKET T140/TR7 - .080 THICK
An .080 in. thick head gasket for the T140/TR7 750 twin, used to drop compression slightly versus the standard-thickness gasket.
This is a head gasket for the T140/TR7 engine family, made in the .080 in. thick version rather than the standard thickness. It seats between the cylinder head and barrels, sealing the combustion chambers and oil/pushrod passages so nothing leaks or blows past the joint.

The extra-thick spec is a deliberate departure from stock thickness. Running this in place of the standard gasket opens up the head-to-barrel gap slightly, which lowers compression a touch — something folks reach for when they're chasing detonation or pre-ignition issues on a 750 twin, or just want to back off compression a bit for other reasons.
We don't have fitment history logged on this one beyond the catalog listing itself, so if you're not sure whether the .080 version is right for your particular head and barrel combination versus the standard gasket, give us a call before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
