Inlet rocker box
Inlet-side rocker box for the unit 750 twin cylinder head, housing the inlet rocker gear on OIF-era engines.
71-3668 is the inlet rocker box for the unit-construction 750 twins, the housing that sits on top of the cylinder head over the inlet valve gear and caps off that side of the rocker assembly. It shows up in the parts books under the MANIFOLD AND TAPPETS and CYLINDER BLOCK AND HEAD listings for the T140V and TR7RV, so it's tied to the later OIF-era twins rather than the earlier unit engines.

The rocker box carries the rocker spindle and covers the valve gear on the inlet side, keeping oil in and dirt out while the rockers do their job actuating the inlet valve. Because there's a separate box for inlet and exhaust, make sure you're ordering the correct side when you order.
Our catalog data on this one comes from three listings spanning the mid-to-late '70s production of these engines. If you're not sure whether your engine takes this exact casting, bring in your old box or the part number off it and we'll match it up before you order.
