Push rod cover tube
Chrome pushrod cover tube for the 750cc Triumph twin, fits between cylinder block and rocker box.
71-3329 is a pushrod cover tube for the 750cc unit twin, the part that shrouds each pushrod as it runs between the cylinder block and the rocker box. It appears across the CYLINDER BLOCK AND HEAD figures for TR7RV and T140V, plus the MANIFOLD AND TAPPETS figure, and the catalog spans model years from the early to late 1970s.

Each tube seals against the block and the head with an O-ring or gasket at either end, so it does double duty holding oil in and keeping the pushrod itself protected from the elements. These tubes take corrosion, dents, and gasket wear over the years, and a tube that's been bent or pitted is a common source of top-end oil leaks that people chase for months without finding.
The finish on this one is a bright chrome plating. If you're rebuilding the top end, it's worth pulling all four tubes and checking them for straightness and wear at the sealing ends rather than just reusing what came off the bike.
