GASKET POINTS COVER 3CYL
Points cover gasket for the Triumph and BSA three-cylinder engines, seals the contact breaker cover to the timing chest.
This is the gasket that seats between the points cover and the timing chest on the three-cylinder Triumph and BSA engines. It's a small, thin part but it does the job of keeping the cover sealed so oil doesn't seep out around the contact breaker housing. The old alias for this one is 35T, which is the number you'll find if you're working from an earlier parts book.

Catalog listings tie this gasket to the triple-cylinder engines, so if you're working on a T150, T160, or one of the BSA triples, this is the points cover gasket that belongs there. It's the kind of part worth having on hand any time you're pulling the points cover off for service, since gaskets don't like being reused once they've been compressed and cut.
Cheap insurance isn't the phrase Ed would use, but it is one of those parts that's easy to overlook until you've got the cover off and no gasket to put back. Grab one before you start the job rather than after.
