BSA Dowel — pump body to spindle housing
A locating dowel between the oil pump body and spindle housing on the gearbox oil pump.

71-1148 is a dowel that locates the oil pump body to the spindle housing on the gearbox-mounted oil pump. It's a small alignment piece, not a fastener you'll torque down, and its job is just to keep the pump body and spindle housing registered correctly to each other so the pump internals line up as they should.
