Tappet oil feed pipe D.S.
Drive-side tappet oil feed pipe from the crankcase area of the Triumph unit twin, part 70-8746 (formerly E8746).
This is the tappet oil feed pipe, drive side, for the crankcase area of the unit-construction Triumph twin engine. It carries oil up to the drive-side tappet block so the tappets and cam followers get lubrication as the engine runs. It appears in the crankcase section of the parts books, and shows up across catalog listings from 1969 through 1972 under this number, with E8746 as the earlier legacy form of the same part.

Because it's a small oil line specific to one side of the engine, fitment and orientation matter — the drive side (D.S.) pipe is a distinct part from its opposite-side counterpart. If you're rebuilding the bottom end or chasing an oil leak around the tappet blocks, this is one of the lines worth inspecting for cracks, kinks, or worn union fittings.
We don't have extensive detail on this one beyond what's in the crankcase figures, so if you're not sure which side you need or how it mates up on your particular engine, give us a call and we'll help confirm before you order.
