BSA Gasket, inner timing cover
Gasket for the inner timing cover, seals against the crankcase near the kickstart and footchange mechanism.
This is a gasket for the inner timing cover, part number 70-7853, sitting behind the outer timing cover on the right side of the engine where the kickstart and footchange mechanism live. The catalog lists it under the OUTER TIMING COVER, KICKSTART AND FOOTCHANGE figure, so it seals the joint between the inner cover and the crankcase in that area.

A gasket like this keeps oil from seeping out at the mating surface once the covers are back on. It's a thin, one-time-use piece, so when you pull the timing cover for any work on the kickstart or footchange gear, plan on fitting a new one rather than reusing the old one.
Our catalog entry for this part is brief and the manufacturer tag on file says BSA, though the figure titles and numbering are the main things we have to go on. Give the shop a call to confirm fitment before you order.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
