Bolt, A/A (1/4-26 TPI x 2 in. U.H.)
1/4-26 TPI x 2 in. U.H. bolt (70-5451/E5451) for fixing the manual advance unit in the timing cover.
This is the bolt that holds the manual advance unit onto the camshaft in the timing cover assembly, part number 70-5451, also carried in older parts books as E5451. It's a 1/4 inch bolt with a 26 TPI thread, 2 inches under the head. This is the CEI thread standard used on the early points/advance setup, so before ordering it's worth checking that your camshaft threads match 26 TPI rather than a different pitch.

The catalog places this bolt in the timing cover, contact breaker, and ignition coil figures, right where the advance mechanism and points live at the front of the engine. It shows up across a run of catalog entries from the early-to-mid 1960s, consistent with the sidepoints ignition setup used before later point systems came in.
It's a small fastener but the thread spec matters here, since a mismatch will strip the camshaft threads rather than the bolt. If you're not sure what's currently threaded into your advance unit, check it against the 1/4-26 TPI spec before you order.
