Bracket, silencer bracket

Silencer mounting bracket for 650 twins, used to secure the muffler to the bike.

PN · 70-4951

70-4951 is a silencer bracket off the exhaust system on the unit-construction 650 twins. It shows up across the catalog under the exhaust pipes and mufflers figures as well as the engine unit fittings and footrests section, which tells you it's part of what anchors the muffler back to the bike rather than a purely cosmetic piece. The older book number for this one is E4951, and it's also carried under 80-62331.

This bracket appears in catalog entries running from 1964 through 1970, alongside the TR6R and T120R listings, so it's tied to that mid-to-late-60s exhaust setup on the 650s. If your muffler is rattling loose or the mounting point has cracked or gone missing, this is the part that takes up that slack.

We don't have exact dimensions or finish specs on file for this one, so if you're matching it against an original bracket or need to know precise hole spacing, give the shop a call and we'll help confirm fitment before you order.
