Center mounting distance tube for a BSA A65 2.5 gallon steel gas tank, 3 5/8 inches long.
This is a distance tube for a BSA gas tank mounting setup, not a Triumph part despite the part number format. The catalog description calls it out plainly: A65 2.5 gal, 3 5/8 long. It's the spacer tube that sits at the center mounting point of the fuel tank, keeping the mounting bolt from crushing the tank shell when it's tightened down against the frame.

These distance tubes are small and easy to lose track of when a tank comes off for paint or repair. If you're reassembling a BSA A65 with the smaller steel tank, it's worth having one of these on hand rather than trying to improvise a spacer out of something else.
