BSA CAM PLATE A65 EARLY NOS
Early-type cam plate for the BSA A65 twin, sold as new-old-stock.
This is a cam plate for the BSA A65 twin, listed in our records as an early-production version. The cam plate is the part inside the timing chest that the cam followers ride against, and it's what times the opening and closing of the valves to the position of the crank. On these unit twins it's a wear item worth checking whenever the timing chest is opened up, since a worn plate changes valve timing and can throw off how the engine runs.

Our listing carries this as new-old-stock, meaning it's an original unused part from BSA's own production run rather than a later reproduction. This is a BSA A65 part, not a Triumph part, so make sure it's the plate you actually need before ordering.
We don't have much more detail on this one beyond what's noted here. If you're not certain your cam plate is the early type, pull the timing cover and compare against what's fitted before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
