BSA PUSHROD,INTAKE A50 61 ON
Intake pushrod for the BSA A50 twin, 1961-on per the catalog.
This is the intake pushrod for the BSA A50, listed in the catalog as fitting from 1961 on. It's a BSA part, not a Triumph one, despite what turns up in some cross-reference lists - the description is plain about the model. In the valve gear it's the rod that rides between the cam follower down in the barrel and the rocker up top, carrying the lift from the camshaft to open the intake valve on its cycle.

You'll find it referenced alongside the cylinder barrel, exhaust pipe, and valve figures in the parts book, which is where this rod does its work - it runs up through a tunnel in the barrel casting on its way to the rocker box. The catalog also carries it under the alternate number 68-365, an older form of the same part number.
We don't have a lot more detail on this one beyond what's in the description. If you're ordering for an A50 built outside that 1961-on window, or you're not sure which pushrod your engine takes, give us a call and we'll sort out fitment before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
