A65 LAYSHFT NEEDLE CLOSED
Closed-end layshaft needle roller bearing for BSA A50/A65 gearboxes, part number 68-0034.
This is the closed-end layshaft needle roller bearing, part number 68-0034, for the BSA A50 and A65 gearbox. The catalog description calls it out plainly as an A65 layshaft needle bearing, closed type, and that's exactly what it is - a needle bearing that supports the layshaft inside the gearbox shell, with a closed end rather than open through-bore.

This isn't a Triumph part despite how it's filed in some of our records - the description names the A65 straight out, and that's a BSA model, not a Triumph one. It shows up across BSA's A50/A65 gearbox family and has also been referenced for earlier RRT2-type gearboxes used in other BSA twins, so if you're working on an older BSA box it's worth checking your parts book to confirm this is the correct closed-end bearing for your case.
We don't have a lot of extra history on this one in our own catalog beyond the basic listing, so if you've got questions on which gearbox casing or layshaft it mates up with, give us a call before you order and we'll go over it with you.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
