This is a pilot jet for an Amal Premier 2GRV carburetor, sized .017. The pilot jet controls fuel delivery at idle and just off idle, before the main jet takes over as the throttle opens up. If your idle is hunting, or the bike won't hold a steady tick-over, or it stumbles right off the closed throttle, the pilot jet is one of the first things worth checking.
