Throttle return spring
Throttle return spring for Amal carburetors, pulls the slide shut when you release the throttle.
622/061 is the throttle return spring for Amal carburetors used across a range of Triumph twins in this catalog. It sits inside the carb body on the throttle slide and does the simple but important job of pulling the slide back down whenever you let off the twist grip, so the engine returns to idle instead of hanging open.

This spring shows up across a good number of the Amal carburetor figures in our records, including the T100 series, the T100T and T100R, and the TR6R, TR6C, and T120R listings, so it's a part that gets called for often. If the return action on your slide feels sluggish or the throttle doesn't snap shut cleanly, a tired or weak spring here is a common culprit.
Given how many carb variants call for this same spring, it's worth having one on hand when you're servicing an Amal carb, whether you're doing a full rebuild or just chasing a sticky throttle.
