Connecting rubber clip 4 (2928/146)
A clip used to secure the rubber intake connector between the Amal Concentric MKII carburetor and cylinder head on late-model Triumph twins.
60-7077 is a small clip that secures the rubber connector between the carburetor and the cylinder head on Amal Concentric MKII setups. It shows up in the carburetor and manifold figures for the T140E era, doing the job of a hose clamp - keeping the intake rubber sealed against the carb stub and the head so the engine doesn't pull unmetered air past the joint.

Some suppliers cross-reference the part to 60-0708, and it was later reissued under 2928/146, so if your parts book lists either of those, check it against your parts book or call us before ordering. It's a simple item but worth checking - a loose or perished connection here is a common source of an air leak that throws off carburetion, especially on a twin-carb bike where you've got two of these joints to keep tight.
Our catalog record ties this into the Amal Concentric MKII carburetor figures spanning 1979 into the mid-1980s. If you're not sure which clip size your bike takes, give us a call and we'll match it up before you order.
