Upper front brake hose (master cylinder to top yoke) for high handlebar setups, PN 60-4176, superseded by 60-4176A.
This is the upper front brake hose, running from the master cylinder down to the top yoke, and it's specified for high handlebar setups (US-style bars). It's part of the hydraulic front brake line on machines fitted with a front disc brake, carrying fluid pressure from the lever down to the lower line and on to the caliper. The catalog shows it in FRONT BRAKE figures across 1976 to 1978.

The part number 60-4176 was later superseded by 60-4176A, so if your parts book or an old invoice lists the A suffix, that's the same physical hose under the updated number.
When you're replacing brake hoses on a hydraulic front end, check the bar height and bend routing before ordering — this one is built for the taller US handlebar position, and a low-bar bike will want a different length.
