Washer, torque stay to swinging arm

Flat washer used at the torque stay to swinging arm mounting point on unit Triumph twins, 7/16 in. inner diameter.

PN · 60-2332

This is a flat washer, part number 60-2332, used at the torque stay where it bolts to the swinging arm on unit-construction Triumph twins. The torque stay is the link that braces the engine/gearbox unit back to the swinging arm pivot area, and this washer sits under the fastener there to spread the load and keep things seated properly.

It also shows up under other letters in the parts books, listed under the older D2332 and NB101 references, which is the same physical washer just catalogued under an earlier part-numbering scheme. Our records show it turning up across a number of different figures in the parts books, including cylinder block and head sections for TR6R and TR6C and T120R, which suggests this same washer size got used in more than one spot on the bike, not just the torque stay mount.

It's a simple, inexpensive part but one that's easy to lose track of when you're pulling the motor or working on the swinging arm pivot area. Worth keeping a couple in the parts bin so you're not held up hunting for one on reassembly.
